LearnTastic is looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to support our Sales team in managing leads, customer accounts, sales operations, and administrative activities. The ideal candidate will help ensure that sales processes run efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer service, data accuracy, and revenue support.

The Sales Support Specialist will work closely with sales representatives, account managers, and internal teams to coordinate customer requests, track sales activities, support upselling opportunities, prepare reports, process orders, and contribute to the overall performance of the Sales team. This role also requires the ability to support and coordinate team activities, maintain strong follow-up practices, and help drive a consistent customer and sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Sales team.

  • Respond to customer inquiries through email, phone, and other communication channels in a timely and professional manner.

  • Schedule customer meetings, sales appointments, demonstrations, and conferences.

  • Track and maintain sales leads, opportunities, customer accounts, and sales activities.

  • Coordinate lead distribution and follow-up activities with sales representatives.

  • Support sales representatives and account managers in identifying customer needs and relevant upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

  • Follow up with existing customers regarding additional products, services, upgrades, or solutions where appropriate.

  • Compile daily and periodic sales reports, performance metrics, and sales data.

  • Monitor sales performance indicators and assist in identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities.

  • Support account managers and sales representatives with customer follow-ups, quotations, proposals, upselling opportunities, and sales documentation.

  • Create and process customer orders accurately and within required timelines.

  • Coordinate rush orders and follow up on pending orders and customer requests.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account information.

  • Assist customers with order-related, account-related, and general service inquiries.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and ensure timely solutions.

  • Perform accurate data entry for sales figures, customer information, metrics, and other business data.

  • Maintain organized and accessible sales records, files, reports, and documentation.

  • Assist with analyzing sales trends and preparing information to support sales strategies and revenue growth.

  • Prepare presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and other sales-related materials as required.

  • Support sales leadership and management with scheduling, reporting, documentation, team coordination, and administrative tasks.

  • Provide day-to-day coordination and support to sales team members, helping ensure priorities, follow-ups, and customer activities are completed on time.

  • Coordinate with Customer Support, Finance, Marketing, and other internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience and efficient sales process.

  • Identify and report unusual activity, data discrepancies, or customer concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

  • Maintain confidentiality when handling customer, employee, and company information.

  • Perform other sales support, team coordination, and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or related fields is preferred.

  • Previous experience in sales support, sales administration, customer service, office administration, account management, or a related role.

  • Proven experience with upselling and/or cross-selling is required.

  • At least 3 years of leadership and team management experience, including coordinating, coaching, supporting, or supervising team members.

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish — required. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages are essential.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, customer requests, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, particularly spreadsheets and presentations.

  • Strong computer literacy and data-entry skills.

  • Familiarity with CRM, sales tracking, or customer management systems.

  • Ability to independently manage responsibilities while collaborating effectively with sales representatives, account managers, and cross-functional teams.

  • Understanding of basic sales processes, customer service practices, lead management, and account management.

  • Ability to recognize customer needs and confidently support sales conversations and revenue-generating opportunities.

  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and business requirements.

  • Strong follow-through and ownership of assigned tasks, customer requests, and sales activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a high-volume sales, customer service, or administrative environment.

  • Experience leading, coaching, or managing a sales or customer-facing team.

  • Experience using CRM or sales management platforms.

  • Experience preparing sales reports and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Experience with lead management, order processing, customer account management, and sales follow-up.

  • Experience meeting or supporting individual and team sales targets.

  • Experience in an online education, SaaS, technology, or professional services environment is a plus.

  • Experience working with bilingual or international customers is a plus.
