About the Role

We’re looking for a bold, strategic, and data-driven Head of SEO to lead our global organic growth.
You’ll own our entire SEO strategy — from technical optimization and content excellence to AI search innovation — with one clear mission: drive sustainable traffic, conversions, and revenue.

If you love blending technical SEO mastery with creative growth thinking, and you thrive in a fast-moving, high-impact environment, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do

🌎 Strategy & Leadership

  • Build and execute our global SEO roadmap across U.S. and international markets.

  • Set clear KPIs tied to growth, revenue, and CAC goals.

  • Lead our evolution into AI Search and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).

  • Create scalable content frameworks across multiple course and topic categories.

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing SEO team — including agencies and freelancers.

⚙️ Technical SEO Excellence

  • Run deep-dive technical audits: Core Web Vitals, indexation, crawl depth, and UX signals.

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to deliver impactful site enhancements.

  • Ensure technical precision — canonicalization, hreflang, sitemaps, schema, structured data.

  • Drive site performance: faster pages, smoother UX, and mobile-first design.

✍️ Content & On-Page Strategy

  • Build content clusters that capture high-intent search demand and new course opportunities.

  • Optimize landing pages for both search performance and conversion excellence.

  • Implement structured data and schema for enhanced visibility and rich results.

🤖 AI Search & Future-Ready SEO

  • Define our strategy for GenAI and conversational search platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, and beyond).

  • Conduct next-gen keyword research tailored for natural language and intent-based queries.

  • Strengthen our brand presence across knowledge graphs and AI-driven experiences.

📊 Performance & Insights

  • Track and analyze performance: rankings, organic revenue, conversions, and ROI.

  • Build powerful dashboards (GA4, Looker Studio, Search Console) to inform business decisions.

  • Uncover new SEO opportunities through competitive analysis and experimentation.

  • Run A/B tests to continually improve content and UX outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Experience

  • 10+ years of SEO experience, ideally in EdTech or other high-growth, performance-led industries.

  • Proven success scaling organic traffic and driving measurable business impact.

  • Expert knowledge across technical SEO, content strategy, and analytics.

  • Experience with AEO, structured data, UX signals, and AI search optimization.

  • Skilled in SEO tools like GA4, GSC, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Botify, and SurferSEO.

💪 Leadership & Collaboration

  • A natural leader who can hire, coach, and inspire teams.

  • Strong collaborator — you know how to partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to get results.

  • Data-driven decision-maker with a clear focus on business outcomes.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with multi-region SEO and compliance-heavy markets.

  • Familiarity with AI-driven content workflows.

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

How You’ll Measure Success

  • Growth in organic revenue and conversions

  • Expansion of indexed pages and content categories

  • Improved rankings for key commercial terms

  • Enhanced Core Web Vitals and site UX

  • Increased AI search and featured snippet visibility

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • A culture that values innovation, experimentation, and measurable impact

  • Cross-functional collaboration with world-class marketers, developers, and creators

  • The freedom to shape and lead a future-ready SEO strategy

  • Competitive compensation, growth opportunities, and the chance to make a real difference

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
