Sales Data Analyst
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will transform raw sales data into actionable insights that help drive revenue, improve sales strategies, and support business growth. You will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations to deliver meaningful reports and strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyze sales performance metrics and develop regular dashboards and reports (e.g., pipeline health, conversion rates, revenue trends)
Build and manage forecasting models to support revenue planning
Track KPIs and targets across teams, regions, or product lines, and highlight variances
Identify sales trends, customer behavior patterns, and opportunities for upselling/cross-selling
Automate data processes and reporting workflows using tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL
Support the sales team with territory planning, quota allocation, and incentive tracking
Work cross-functionally to integrate data from CRM (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot), marketing platforms, and ERP systems
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership to influence data-driven decisions
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field
2–5 years of experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis
Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and business acumen
Ability to translate complex data into simple insights and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Familiarity with sales compensation design and performance tracking
Knowledge of Python/R is a plus
Experience in SaaS, EdTech, or B2B industries
